Possibly a Java issue?

HCL Notes/Domino 8.5 Forum (includes Notes Traveler)

I saw this on an app developed many years ago under Java. It just wouldn't run without that prompt or a floppy in the drive. It wasn't my code and the floppy disk stayed in that system (a server) for years just to handle the automatic startup of the app.

I know this may be a red herring but hey, at least I've seen it before.
